Impact
Building on a long history of support for Murray State University students and programs, which spans 28 different funds over decades of giving, the Logan family鈥檚 new gift demonstrates an incredible and transformative investment in the Jones College of Science, Technology, and Engineering. These permanent endowments will bolster the College鈥檚 ability to move confidently into the future of science research and education by being able to provide its students with updated laboratories and equipment and attract and retain outstanding faculty.
Inspiration
The Logan family has deep roots at Murray State, especially in the sciences. Not only did Dr. Thomas and Mrs. Jo Logan receive their bachelors鈥� degrees from Murray State, but so did their son Dr. Mark Logan, M.D., his wife Donna Krueger Logan, Dr. Thomas鈥檚 brother William, and their nephew Dr. William Logan II. Dr. Thomas Logan, as well as many other Logan family members, went on to achieve tremendous professional success in the medical field. The Logan Hall of Biology will proudly bear the family鈥檚 name for decades to come and serve as a reminder of the incredible legacy of giving back to their Alma Mater that this extraordinary family has shown.
