These permanent endowments will bolster the College’s ability to move confidently into the future of science research and education by being able to provide its students with updated laboratories and equipment and attract and retain outstanding faculty.

Inspiration

The Logan family has deep roots at Murray State, especially in the sciences. Not only did Dr. Thomas and Mrs. Jo Logan receive their bachelors’ degrees from Murray State, but so did their son Dr. Mark Logan, M.D., his wife Donna Krueger Logan, Dr. Thomas’s brother William, and their nephew Dr. William Logan II. Dr. Thomas Logan, as well as many other Logan family members, went on to achieve tremendous professional success in the medical field. The Logan Hall of Biology will proudly bear the family’s name for decades to come and serve as a reminder of the incredible legacy of giving back to their Alma Mater that this extraordinary family has shown.
